Drupal Training Conference held in Seattle, Oct. 24-25th, 2009

We had a great time in Seattle this past weekend, Oct 24-25th, at the Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit. www.pnwdrupalsummit.org Lots of great talks and lots of great people!

Chris Shattuck of www.buildamodule.com gave lots of great advice when he spoke on Drupal Security Essentials.

Jen Lampton of www.ChapterThree.com gave a very practical presentation on Drupal SEO. Did you know that the default settings of Pathauto can lead to duplicate paths to your content? This is not good for your Google rankings.

Greg Dunlap gave a great talk on Staging and Deployment. Now that your site is live, how to do you make updates? Do you keep your development site going? How to keep up with all the new user content? Excellent questions and great discussions as to how to manage your new site updates as well as user content.
