It's been one month since I returned from DrupalCon San Francisco. It's time for a Drupal 7 update. What's new in Drupal-land?

1. Drupal 7 Alpha 5 was released May 23rd. Download and test it today!
http://drupal.org/drupal-7.0-alpha5

2. On May 18th, there were 80 critical bugs left to be fixed in Drupal 7. All Critical Bugs must be fixed before Drupal 7 can be released. So following the number of Critical Bugs is like a countdown to Drupal 7 Beta release.

3. We learned a lot about what's new in Drupal 7 at DrupalCon San Francisco. In case you missed it, you can read about my report on DrupalCon San Francisco here: http://www.seascapewebdesign.com/blog/what-say-about-drupalcon-san-franc...

Build your own test website with Drupal 7 alpha

Submitted by Katy on June 3, 2010.

You can download Drupal 7 and build your own test website. Thomas did it.

Thomas says: I am very impressed about how polished and stable #Drupal 7 alpha 5 is. http://www.nutshell.nu runs just fine with no hiccups.

Read his account "Being Brave with Drupal 7 alpha"
